NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers should look into sharing a new stadium. Both teams currently play in out-of-date stadiums. In June, voters in Santa Clara signed off on a plan to build a 68,500-seat stadium in the city for the 49ers. The Raiders have no current plans to leave the Coliseum. Speaking at halftime of the Raiders game against San Diego, Goodell says he would encourage the two teams to look into sharing a stadium like the New York Jets and Giants.

Mind your business Roger....no one wants to share a stadium with the Raiders...

  3. the 49ers deserve their own stadium.

Candlestick park is a dump and most college stadiums are better than the garbage I saw last night.

Honestly they should share a stadium. I love football but two 500m-1b dollar stadiums versus one? The roads are falling apart, education sucks ass, our whole infrastructure as a whole is falling apart. What differnece does it make if they share a stadium? All this bs of OH FREAK THE NINERS/RADIERS WE WANT OUR OWN HOUSE BABY!! Nah this is reality, this recession your gonna run up billions more public debt? Plus the way theyve been playing the last 7-8 years....who cares anyway. Now if they could pay for the stadium themselves without our help thats different.

As much as these 2 teams hate each other....seeing them share a stadium would be quite entertaining....:icon_cheesygrin:

I hate the 49ers but hes right, California sports are having hard times with new stadiums, might as well try it, its working for the Jets and Giants.

But I don't think the Jets and Giants hate each other the way the Niners and Raiders do...:icon_cheesygrin:

The Raiders will probably be moving to another city soon anyway. So just let them share the stadium until then.
