NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has no plans to meet with Vikings quarterback Brett Favre regarding allegations of inappropriate conduct with a former Jets employee. Last week, Deadspin reported that Favre was accused of sending graphic pictures and suggestive text and voice-mail messages to Jenn Sterger, New York's former sideline reporter. "We're just looking for facts right now," Goodell said. "We'd like to understand what the facts are." Goodell said he had no plans to meet with Favre to discuss the allegations. "At some point, if it's something that would help us get to a conclusion and something I felt is warranted, I would," Goodell added. Source: New York Times
am i the only one that doesn't see this as a big deal? most likely, he was cheating on his wife with these women when he was in new york. they are pissed that he didn't continue the relationships so when he contacted them wanting to get together, they reported it to the press to try and become famous. to me, this is not a league issue. he's going to get his punishment from his family life. he didn't break any laws. these women are just jilted lovers that are pissed at favre and want to get paid.
they don't work together. he's not her boss. this is a personal matter between 2 people that possibly used to hook up and now she's pissed and throwing him under the bus. how is that sexual harrassment? to me, this would be like sending pics of my junk and dirty texts to an ex-girlfriend. if she didn't want them, she'd just tell me to heck off. in this case, though, she can make money so she took it to the press.
Stil don't get it. What has this to do with your work and at what point she/he said that they both had something going? If I would send stuff like this to a girl, it would be sexual harassment (at least here)
