Michael Crabtree had to wait an extra three picks to get drafted because the Raiders passed on him last year. The 49ers receiver has waited 18 months since to show them how he really feels "Of course you think about it," Crabtree said of the snub with the Raiders coming to Candlestick Park for Sunday's Battle of the Bay. "Anytime someone gets picked ahead of you, you think about it." To be clear, Crabtree doesn't have a beef with wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, whom the Raiders drafted with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2009 draft. Heyward-Bey had no choice in the matter. Crabtree holds the snub completely against a Raiders organization that didn't so much as host him on a predraft visit, much less make him the first wide receiver drafted that year. "I'm not worried about Darrius," Crabtree said. "I'm focused on winning the game. But at the same time, I'm thinking about the Raiders." Source: San Francisco Chronicle
heck you f*g all i heard coming into the draft was how you didn't want to play for us anyways so suck a rod douche
no i never wanted him on our team anyways. i didn't want dhb either in the first but what you gonna do al has a hard on for speed. i just don't like him
Why the hell are they making a big deal out of this. He said "its something i think about" not "heck the raiders im gonna crap all over them for wronging me."
Well I'm glad Uncle Al made a HUGE mistake and took DHB...seems to have worked out great for them.:lmao:
Well Olly to be honest, Crabtree should have gone before DHB in just talent but Al is all about speed nevermind the fact that DHB aka Hands of Stone can't catch a cold much less a football.
It's not just Crabtree. Todays rookies are arrogant asses, who think they are the greatest players ever. Just have a look at Russel, beeing a complete waste off a pick, but has already earned more money than some veterans ever will. I freaking hate this piss poor attitude...
Well I love that Randy Moss runs on the Cowboys every chance he gets because they passed on him...having that intensity IMO is a good motivator for them to do their best, I'm not thinking about the money a certain draft pick makes.
