With all the talk about how strong next years WR class should be, the CB class should be incredibly strong as well. 2008 was the best year in recent memory for CB's, how do you see next years potential class shaping up VS 2008

    Possible high picks next year

    Patrick Petreron, LSU (JR)
    Aaron Williams, Texas (JR)
    Prince Amukamara, Nebraska
    Ras-I Dowling, Virginia
    Curtis Brown, Texas
    Jimmy Smith, Colorado
    Davon House, New Mexico State
    Brandon Harris, Miami (JR)
    Chris Culliver, South Carolina
    Janorious Jenkins, Florida (JR)

High Picks in 2008 (Pro Bowler in bold)

    Dominique Rodger's Cromartie
    Leodis McKelvin
    Aqib Talib
    Mike Jenkins
    Antoine Cason
    Brandon Flowers
    Tracy Porter
    Patrick Lee
    Terrence Wheatley
    Terell Thomas

At the top, absolutly. I think Petterson could be the first top 5 since Newman

I think Petterson, Williams and Amukamara are better prospects then DRC, and McKelvin

However I think 2008 will be better with the middle to lower tier one guys. Doweling and Brown and Smith arent going to be as strong as Talib, Jenkins, Cason and Flowers

Overall, I think the potential is there

Yeah I tend to agree, it could be as good, eventually, but definitely doesn't look like it to me right now.

peterson might be the best CB prospect ive seen in my lifetime....hes got off the chart measurables and playmaking ability. I would say that D-Hall or pacman would be the two best ive seen, but i think peterson takes both of them on...hes damn near the prototype CB

Prince is not far behind and i love me some aaron williams and brandon harris in the first as well. I think Ras-I is a FS in the pros just malcolm Jenkins and Antrell Rolle

i think 2011 will certainly be better than 2008

The potential is there, however alot of Horns fans dont think Williams is gonna jump. I think the top takes a hit if he stays. The top is still better then 2008, but I still think 2008's lower end of tier one is slightly better. Not as deep, but man for man better

i am fairly certain williams will declare...id be very surprised if he didnt especially with him already being rated considerably higher than curtis brown who looks like a late first/early second kind of guy.

declaring early for such a top talent like williams with peterson and amukamara clearly 1 and 2 could be a reason for him to stay though.

Take it with a grain of salt obviously, but from what Ive heard is that he is the "I like college, and I want to graduate" type

I also dont know if I would put Amukamara ahead. I think its close, but I have Williams #2

the nebraska and texas secondaries are so sick across the board this year with so much NFL talent.

i think williams is a better prospect than ross and people were on that mans nuts coming out of texas

prince is my #2 and is alot of peoples #1...i just think peterson has everything going for him. if the lions end up with peterson they will have 3 of my favorite prospect of all time on their roster with calvin, suh and peterson....im already a closet lions fan, that roster is getting scary which is weird to say

I think Prince may be a better across the board CB. Haden was good, but Prince is what Haden was hyped to be in a weak clbutt. However I think Williams may be the better pure Man CB

I think Petterson is gonna be the first top 5 since Newman in 2003

  14. Peterson will be a top 5 pick. Don;t forget he is a fantastic return man which will give him added value.

  15. Crowned

A team probably won't risk their top 5 picks health on kick returns.

  16. possibly true but it is something else useful he can do.
