The Cutler fumble was actually a touchdown but Lovie is too freaking stupid to challenge plays that are actually called wrong. :icon_rolleyes:
I saw the replay on that and just shook my head. Never cared for that play call from the get go anyway.
Actually I thought a QB sneak made sense. Whenever they hand the ball off that close to the goal line the OL gets caved in and the play goes nowhere. I've been screaming for a QB sneak in that situation for a while now and they finally call it and get a TD but no like I said Lovie fumbles the ball with his inability to challenge intelligently.
Another thing that irks me about this game is when DJ Moore picks off McNabb in the 2nd half and returns it for a TD. All of a sudden, the refs decide they are going to call a delay of game against the Redskins. Now, that may have been the correct call the whole time BUT you blow the whistle the very second that play clock hits zero, not call it after the play is over. The clock was on zero for how many seconds before the ball was snapped on that play? The replay clearly showed that too and I didn't even see a flag thrown before the play. My dad was at the game today and he did not hear a whistle before that play.
Why whine about a correct call. Whine about your coach not calling for a review that could have been a TD instead of a turnover.
I'm gonna put this as simple as possible. If you don't wanna hear me vent, don't bother reading my post. Simple enough? Ignore me for all I care. It's funny how anyone else can vent on here BUT I vent on here, i'm whining instead, you know what, I say heck those opinions. People have tried to bring me down before and have failed, you are no different. I wasn't gonna say anything else on this game until you opened up your mouth in my direction. If the refs would have blew the whistle before the play, thats one thing BUT if they don't, then the play should stand. Thats not the fault of the Bears defense the refs didn't blow the whistle before that play. Thats my only beef with the refs this game. With how many officials are on an officating crew, you would think atleast one of them would be paying attention to the play clock. As for Lovie not challenging the Cutler fumble that should have been a TD in the first place, that falls on Lovie's people upstairs, which I do agree that should have been challenged and would have won that challenge. Now, i'm not gonna going and snitch, piss, and moan about it two days later. (Hint Hint Eagles fans from 2 years ago)
I thought it was odd too. Normally they blow the play dead when the play clock runs out and I'm pretty sure they did not in that case. Correct call? Certainly. Letting the play run before calling it? Aggravating especially given the result.
It's simple... I don't mind reading your vents, and nobody is trying to bring you down, and it's okay if you keep commenting on this game. Try not to let it bother you so much when someone busts your balls a little on a football forum.
Other than what I vented about this game, the Redskins won this game fair and square. You can't turn the ball over as many times as the Bears did and all in the second half. As a fan, especially a Bears fan, you get tired of thinking of the would of could of should of happenings that went wrong. Oh well, Da Bears have 2 weeks to get ready for Buffalo, they better be ready.
