Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha Has A High Ankle Sprain

Discussion in 'Oakland Raiders' started by BigBlueBruiser, Nov 1, 2010.

  1. A league source tells Pro Football Talk that an MRI revealed a high ankle sprain for cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. The All Pro is reportedly going to get a second opinion on the ankle to verify the initial diagnosis. If Asomugha indeed has a high ankle sprain, he's unlikely to play or will be limited in Week 9 against Kansas City. The usual timetable for high ankle sprains is 4-6 weeks. Oakland will have to roll with Stanford Routt, rookie Jeremy Ware, and Chris Johnson as its top three corners in the meantime.

Ugh what a kick to the sack. But if we can get the same pressure on cassel we got on hasslebeck it might not matter

it does matter...the Chiefs O-line has been better of l8 and not giving up sacks. let alone our #1 rushing D. Nnamdi might have not have had a gr8 impact anyways. might be a good thing 4 them.

Sucks, but he should rest up, if anything we are facing the worst passing team in the NFL at home next week, we should be ok, just gotta worry about stopping the run.

You could say our running game is like most teams passing games. Around the same yardage......
