I can't remember Jeff Fisher saying Randy Moss would never play for the Titans. Either way though, I think of all the teams he could end up with, this one will keep him in check. First off, he's going to be looking for one last big payday soon and having two teams in one year give up on you will make you eat some humble pie quick. Second, Jeff Fisher and Mike Heimerdinger won't stand for any BS. I am sure that Moss knows by now what the Titans will and won't put up with.
ummm.... i think we are missing one major point...... try stackin eight guys in the box with britt and moss on the outside.... helllooooo CJ2K..... word
Being claimed during the Titans' bye week will give Moss two weeks to learn the offense before his debut against Miami. The Titans rank 30th in pass attempts but Moss' presence should help open the holes for Johnson.
With the 16th pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, the Oilers select WR Kevin Dyson from Utah. Moss went to the Vikings with the 21st pick from Marshall. Just saying. What goes around comes around.
One Yard Short! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfJnbd4A6kk]YouTube - Super Bowl XXXIV: Rams vs Titans #15[/ame] If that were Moss....he would have taken the ball deep and take the top off the defense....:icon_cheesygrin:
I kid....I kid. Mike Jones just happened to be there at the right time....Dyson made one heck of an effort though. A lot of teams were scared off of Randy in the '98 draft. No fault for them to pass on him at the time.....now lets see if he can bring another element to their offense.
Still believe so? http://gridironfans.com/forums/latest-nfl-headlines/144905-titans-wr-kenny-britt-out-6-8-a.html
This post says it all about Randy Moss. What an indictment! Unlike a lot of the other teams, Fischer/Titans offer Belichick-like stability that Moss should respond to positively. And as bonus, a happy and productive Moss in Tennessee should help seal the fate of that guy in Minneapolis.
Seems like Moss is a cancer to a team. I am glade the Giants didnt go after him. he tears apart your team like he did to the Patriots and Vikings. It seems like his prospective is the grass is greener on the other side
i am surprised so many people believe that it will be easy to get Moss's head straight. What in his history leads us to believe that he is so easily fixable?
Former Titan Drew Bennett was on First Take and he ultimately feels that Moss' tenure in Tennessee will be very short lived.....indicating that he'll be released once Britt is healthy.
Good question. His attitude hecked up being on the team he WANTS to play for. Titans looking for a quick fix this year, and probably not looking for Moss to be there after this season.
How did he tear either of these teams apart? The pats won with him and kept winning after him. The vikes where in shambles already because of #4 and chilly and will stay that way. I think he rips defenses up in Tennessee for the remainder of the year
First, the Patriots were not going to make a big financial commitment to a receiver on the wrong side of 30, no matter who he was. They simply got something for him instead of lose him for nothing. The Vikings however are a mess. How can there be order for everyone on the team except for one player? One player who is not living up to his billing as the savior either. It's a house divided over there, and no sound bytes from Favre's lackey's who worship him saying he's so great will hide the fact that not all 53 players on the active roster are happy that he got preferential treatment. Add to that a coach who has won in spite of himself and it's a team who's depending on all talent and no heart. The worst thing Moss did was criticize the catering??? That was cause to release him? Childress needs to swap out his tampon. I think things will work out just fine for Moss in Tennessee. And if it doesn't? The Titans can cut their ties whenever they want. Moss has everything to lose, the Titans have everything to gain in this. You think for a second some team will ante up huge numbers for Moss if a third team passes on him?
