the texans are in a very similar situation as the dolphins. both teams are buried low in their divisions and were expected to be better than they are. both teams have very little margins for error. it will be interesting to see if the texans throw in the towel on the 2nd half of the season or if they kick it into gear to make a playoff run. with 11 teams in the afc currently at .500 or better right now, i don't see a 9-7 team making the wild card this year in the afc. in fact, 10-6 may not cut it.
