And the Giants offense beheind Eli Manning isn't very good. THUD. Hes got Steve Smith out with Mario Manningham filling in and only had 90yds receiving. He had a 47yd touchdown pass to Hakeem Nicks called back on a bad holding call. He threw for 375 yards despite the sloppy play on dropped balls and offensive penalties. The one INT he had was a bad play on which Nicks gave up ont he route. Not to mention that 7 of his 13 INTs were tipped balls. The Running game is averaging almost 150 yds a game. Come on man, surely you can back up your anecdotal statements with facts on how the Giants offense isn't any good.
The offense looked freaking amazing this week. Going to be near impossible to repeat that performance. Defense played well, the game was never as close as the score made it seem. With that said, we are going to need to bring this exact intensity and level of gameplanning to win Sunday. While I think the Giants are a bit overrated, they are certainly better than they looked against the 'boys.
One thing is for certain, Vick is going to command a lot of money, a lot. They just gave Kolb an extension too right? Desean jackson is a free agent after next season too right? I know he wanted an extension. I think it's a no brainers that they have to resign Vick but there are going to be a lot of other teams involved too. **********Automerged Doublepost********** it's hard not to overrate any team in the NFL this year. It's a week to week league and there is no clear cut top team. Look at the Steelers, Ravens etc.. I don't think it's a case of mediocrity this year, i think more teams bridged that competition gap.
DeSean is overdue an extension. He will certainly get it. Vick will be franchised. Something will happen one way or another.
