If everyone has 2 keepers and keep their 2 "best" players, then most of the top players are gone from the board before the actual picks in the draft even start. The top pick in a keeper draft like this is usually a guy that's 2nd-3rd rd. talent in a regular draft. If you don't feel you have keepers that are going to be better options than that, you don't have to keep 2.

I just traded Wayne because I felt like my WR's were strong enough with Nicks, Bowe, and Holmes. Now no Nicks? GODAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIT!!!

That's crazy, I didn't hear it until just now, sounds like a ridiculous thing to be out for. Bad luck man, nothing more. You lost Dallas Clark earlier this year too, didn't you?

Yeah but Ive stayed in it...I'd be ok but for the timing of it. Now instead of rolling with Bowe, Nicks, and Holmes at WR with Mendy as my new RB2 (instead of Wayne), I'm at Bowe Holmes and ??? If VJack comes back strong I'll be ok but until then I'm hecked.

  4. then i say 1 mandatory keeper, whats the point of doing a "keeper league" if everyone isnt keeping players ?

At least TE gives you a few more options to fill that flex spot. I didn't like it at the beginning of the year but it was definitely a good idea to switch things up like that. Ben Watson hecked me this week, I got 0 from both him and Gates's backup and lost by like 9. Now a 3-way logjam atop our div.

If you don't have anyone you consider worth keeping, it seems pretty weak to be forced to choose one. Doesn't make sense to me, what if you only have one good player and he gets a career ending injury? I know this is purely hypothetical but it doesn't seem right.

  6. im pretty sure that Peyton Manning and Stephen Jackson are 2 solid keepers, this team isnt bad, only thing against it was that Baskett was in charge of them

injuries are a part of the game, if thats the case why not start fresh then ? no keepers and everyone redraft ? from there you can do keepers that way there isnt any confusion over 1/2 keepers

    No redraft.

  8. so what exactly is going on here ? 2 keepers, then draft after right ?

Awesome. Not sure what it's in reference to, but I love the end line and the obviously fake karate as well.

OH I guess I should have made it clear that was Dwayne Bowe and my fantasy team vs. the rest of the league.

Well, in my defense I could have sat Bowe and beat you anyway with nobody in his slot...the trouncing COULD have been even worse if I hadn't played Vincent Jackson as well. So to recap I could have played nobody in my WR spots and still beaten you.

Ron Mexico's Free Clinic aka Snowman's Rapin' Van might be fightin' back in for a bye these last few weeks. 150 pts and counting this week, tied atop the division with AJ's Fickle Hillbillies I think and them currently losing a matchup.. Cmon VF28's Cleveland Steam Rollers...
