The inflatable Teflon roof of the Metrodome in Minneapolis has collapsed under the weight of snow after a heavy storm passed through Saturday. Bill Lester, the executive director of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, said Sunday morning that the stadium is unlikely to be ready in time for kickoff on Monday night. Monday's game between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings was already postponed from Sunday after the Giants' flight was diverted Saturday to Kansas City as area air travel was shut down. Lester said the dome suffered damage to two of its triangle-shaped Teflon panels and that his crew is still assessing the situation. I thought I saw some video of Favre up on the dome late last night jumping up and down till the roof collapsed. Some people will do anything to keep a streak going.:icon_evil:
Saintsfan, when I saw that you posted in this thread, I was wondering what kind of jab there would be, I have to hand it to you, that one made me laugh.
3rd time its actually collapsed, the one deflation only caused a 9 minute delay in a baseball game. The last incident was in 1986.
