Cowboys RB Tashard Choice Apologizes For Autograph From Michael Vick

Tashard Choice will take much heat for securing Michael Vick's autograph after the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Eagles Sunday night. On Monday morning, the running back apologized to fans with this post on Twitter: "If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me. I apologize to the people it was just an innocent jesture for my nephew.'' After NBC cameras caught Choice getting the autograph, he told reporters Sunday night, "I had to get one for him.'' About Vick, Choice said, "I have nothing but respect for him. I admire somebody who can overcome circumstances and come back and prove people wrong." Said Vick: "It's probably the first time it's ever happened to me, but it doesn't surprise me.''

My sources tell me that Choice's nephew is ragman.

 

This is freaking ridiculous. I blame ESPN for this and Damn am I tired of professional athletes having to apologize for doing nothing just because Skip Babyface has his "opinion" about something that happens outside the scope of the actual game.

 

nothing wrong with what he did at all.

Alot of athletes have other athletes autographs. Some guys have whole rooms with autographed stuff in.

 

He should not have done it on the field after the game and it wouldn't be an issue. The time he chose to get the signature is the problem imo. Not the act of actually getting it...

It was timing and setting that makes it a big deal. It was hilarious.

 

Who cares.............. The are enough things to get upset about that are way more important imo.

 

If I were a Cowboys fan, I would be far more pissed at a player asking for a division opponent's autograph at home than I would be at 9/11 or what is happening to our economy.

But guys.....his 2 YEAR OLD nephew really wanted Vick's autograph. I read Choice gave the kid Tony Homo's and he lined his huggies with it.

 

Crap, if I was a player, I wouldn't go anywhere without a sharpie.

 

It was just the wrong situation. You don't do it after the game, after a loss. Any other time would have been acceptable.

 

It was for his nephew, after the game was over when players from both teams are talking to each other about watching the drunks fight in the stands and what Christmas present they have to get for their Mom.

Let it go.

 

Again. His nephew is TWO. He is not the Vick fan. Choice is. The nephew bullcrap just makes it even funnier.

 

You didn't see this type of crap when Landry and Ryan were head coaches. Landry must be turning over in his grave.

 

dont bother me in the least. Tashard was born in Georgia, Raised in Georgia, Went to Georgia Tech, Loves everything Georgia, and it was Vick who made the Falcons fun to watch for so long. If it wasnt for his nephew, and it was actually for Tashard, who cares. I dont have one problem with it, all that is, is showing that Tashard thinks enough of vick, and respects him for what he's done. No one ever thought the dude would ever be playing like this, as topdawg said, if i was a player.. i wouldnt go anywhere without a Sharpie. Quit hatin' on crap that dont matter.

 

What Vick "has done" is just beat your team on national TV. It shows zero pride heart for Dallas to do it in such a manner.

 

Nonsense.. Mutual respect/admiration for other players shows class and appreciation for the game. To think otherwise is ignorant IMO.

Besides... The game was over and that may have been the only time he could of gotten the autograph. It doesn't bother me in the least that he asked for it, I just wish he would of waited till the camera's were elsewhere. lol
