Will the combined win total of the Chiefs/Bucs have more wins at the end of the regular season than the combo of the Vikings/Cowboys? Right now, the Chiefs/Bucs have a 4-game lead ....................
you know, initially when i thought of this topic, my instinct was to obviously pick the more talented combo of the cowboys/vikings. however, at this point, i think there is a high probability that both of those teams will implode from the pre-season hype and other pressures and neither one may finish over .500. And, although the Chiefs and Bucs don't look like world-beaters, they both have easy schedules and no pressure on them whatsoever. I could see this being a very close win total at the end of the season.
I love how a lot of pundits continue not to give the Chiefs or Bucs any respect. What happened to you are what your record says you are? I hope people keep saying we stink. Chiefs/Bucs BTW, I've got the Vikings going 7-9.
Chiefs need better play from Cassel if they want to keep afloat, other than that, this team is pretty good. The Buccaneers are a good young team, and it kind of scares me watching Freeman make some huge plays out there.
I think both Bucs and Chiefs can be good teams, but I'm still gonna take Vikings/Cowboys on this one. It's still really early to be making any crazy predictions.
I would have loved to see the reactions to this question 3 weeks ago... Thats why they play the game:icon_smile:
chiefs/bucs are now 6-2 boys/vikes before tonights game are 2-5. anyone want to change their vote yet?
The chiefs very well may end up winning 10-11 games playing in a soft division. They have a solid young team, JC, some good coordinators. Bucs I have no idea how their record will end up looking, I'm thinking maybe 9 wins but who knows. I think the Vikes will be better when they Sidney Rice gets back, such a dynamic trio of receivers I think Randy Moss sounds like a nice #2 and Berrian a pretty good #4. Vikes are going to turn it around and win roughly 10 games. Cowboys I'm not sure. 10 wins sounds about right if there able to turn crap around and stop taking penalties, force more turnovers. It's a long season I think the Chiefs will benefit from playing in an easy division, Vikes have an easy division as well. So we'll see what happens, plus injuries will impact some teams more than others.
just for the record, there were only 3 votes for the chiefs/bucs prior to bumping this thread yesterday. momentum 'may' be building. chiefs/bucs are 6-2. vikes/boys are now 2-6.
chiefs/bucs are now 8-4 and the vikes/boys are 3-8 before tonight's game. yikes, this may not even be close by the end of the year at this rate ........
the vikes/boys are officially eliminated from this question so the 3 of us that picked the chiefs/bucs very early in the season are geniuses !!!
