I would be able to but more attention to my sim league.

I just want them to get it done.

    No fantasy football.
    No Madden.
Freaking waste of money to get Directv.
    More hate towards the BCS.
NHL, NBA, and baseball playoffs still on tv = lame

Baseball never recovered from the '94 strike. And they probably never will.

Basketball struggled a lot after the '99 lockout. And another one is looming.

I just can't accept owners are that stupid. How the hell did they get rich in the first place?

If there's a lockout, heck them. Life will go on. I'll still have to go to work and make in a year what these heckers make in one game. Sure I'll miss football a lot, but I'll have no simpathy for either side. I'll find something to do on sundays...

I'll still have college football, (which I enjoy more) hockey, and nascar so I'll make it. Don't get me wrong I love the NFL, but my life won't be over!

None of our lives will be over but a huge part of my life will suffer, like this site I have put a crap load of effort into it and for the owners to just say heck you is a travesty that real NFL fans need to understand. Like TJ (i think) said how in the hell did the owners get rich over the NFL in the first place..PLAYERS, dumbbutt....

I agree Sweets it is a shame that it may come to this and it shouldn't happen, but you know more than most that the majority of players and owners don't give two hecks about us fans!!!

Red, that may be true I don't honestly know but I like to think that the majority of the players are playing because it puts asses in the seats and yes money in their pockets as well. It's entertainment like movies, plays etc., and if the owners think they can make money forever without the players than power to em.

Well of course they want fans in the seats as it does put money in their pockets, but they still don't give a crap about our feelings of a lock out or our feelings in general. They know that the fans will always be there and the ones that do turn their backs more will come in their place.

I don't believe that the players don't give a crap about the fans feeling in a lock out, the players don't want a lockout as least that's my feeling anyway.

I think neither side wants a lockout but it isn't about us for either side either

    It's ALL about money.

Of course it's about money, that much is a given but the owners get paid the "guaranteed" $4Billion in TV revenues whether the players play or not and with the owners not paying the players 2011 could in effect be a profitable year without a ball being thrown. Less work, less cost and more revenue.

Well, it may come to that if they can't come to an agreement I guess.

If the lockout really happens and there is no 2011 NFL season I'd be gutted. I enjoy NCAA football and NHL as well, but sadly they don't get as much coverage as NFL here.
