Texans To Fire The Entire Coaching Staff At The End Of The Season?

Discussion in 'Houston Texans' started by BigBlueBruiser, Dec 26, 2010.

  1. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle predicts that the Texans' entire coaching staff will be fired at the end of the 2010 season. McClain believes that the Texans' collapse to a Tim Tebow-led Denver Bronco team after a 17-0 first-half lead which lead to a 24-23 comeback win for Denver will prove the straw that breaks coach Gary Kubiak's back. Kubiak is 36-43 without a playoff appearance in five seasons with Houston. He's obviously turned around the offense since the days of David Carr and Wali Lundy, but the Texans' penchant for late-game implosions and Kubiak's allegiance to defensive coordinator Frank Bush may seal his fate.

  3. The next Texans head coach should hire a defensive coordinator that actually had experience leading a defense.

wow, this writer really went out on a limb, didn't he?

it would be more shocking if the texans DIDN'T fire all of their coaches after this season. They had enough time and failed.

Way too much talent for the Texans to be a 5-10 team. A quality HC should get them to the playoffs next year, if there is a next year.

Tired of being sick and tired every freaking Monday. Kick them all out and start over with a proven Coach. Cowher, Gruden or Someone not named Wade. I'll take him as a DC if they keep Gary. I think Gary is here for atleast another year :(

i've been saying for over a year that kubiak tied his fate to frank bush and would ultimately pay the price ..........

it's possible kubiak could immediately land on his feet in denver, though.

What Cap'n Said. I don't imagine Kubiak being out of work for entirely too long.

It just seemed like it was ment to be that the ship would sink against the Broncos. I remember having a sence that the Texans would blow it when they were up 17-0 .

Sad to say that we have no faith in the staff... nothing comes easy to the Texans.

That actually isn't that bad of an idea. Now all they need is a ringleader.

Kubiak came into the season with some major expectations. And a defense that was way too porous. Add to that all those huge leads they spotted people in close losses and they simply burned out. I think Kubiak is done simply because this team didn't meet expectations. They simply couldn't make the plays when they were there for the taking.
