Now that the regular season is over (for the most part) who do you think deserves the award? And why?

  2. Sorry Mush....had the Buccaneers made the playoffs......Morris would've gotten my vote.

It'll be a close race but I believe Todd Haley will edge him out. But the Buccaneers winning 10 games with 10 rookies starting.......unbelievable.

Playoffs or not Rah, made the most out of a IR plagued team. Not to mention the youth he had to develop and did so very nicely I might add. Mike Williams, Blount, and Benn are proof this guy knows what he doing. Haley a close second on shock factor alone. But, Rah should win.

    My .02.....:icon_cheesygrin:

  4. 86WARD

Similar could be said about Tomlin. No Roethlisberger for the first 4 games, the D-Line, O-Line injuries have been nightmares. Having said that, I think it's between Belichick and Haley. I had the Chiefs winning the West from the get go and no one expected them to be as good as they are. Belichick on the other hand has the Patriots rolling with a bunch of rookies and their offense is unbelievable right now. Also dealt with the Randy Moss situation like a pro. Didn't heck around with it at all.

My vote would go to Belichick but it's very hard to go against Haley...

raheem and haley were 'most improved'. lovie got the most out of his talent. and whoever wins the sb should be in the convo.

Mike McCarthy not being on this list is a huge snub..as is Rodgers not being in the Pro Bowl..

Lol on topic.. I think with how many injuries the Packers have had this year and the large amount of key players on IR (13+)...the adversity that he had them over come was amazing.

  7. McCarthy has a case but unlike the Buccaneers and Chiefs......the Packers were heavy favorites to make the playoffs and possibly reach the Super Bowl.

The Bucs and Chiefs come out of obscurity to have 10 win seasons.

Rodgers was dissed big time. My vote is for Haley as well, I honestly didn't see the Chiefs doing as well as they did.

  9. You can't defy the powers of Drew Breesus........:icon_cheesygrin:

He threw around the same amount of interceptions as Eli. Rodgers will likely receive All-Pro honors.

  10. P J Shaker

    P J Shaker GO BLUE!!!

Todd Haley, my reason is the same as others, took a team that didnt have the best of expectations and made them a 10 win season.

Bill Belichick. When your smacking around every team around in the nfl like their your snitches... you know your doing something right. Given how young that defense for the pats is. who woulda thought 14-2? I say Andy Reid is a close second. That team is not very good and without Vick would have been home for the playoffs. They first year reid has with Vick and makes him into a good passer... Just imagine if andy reid had him since his rookie career. Possible HOF?

  12. Inclulbus

    Inclulbus WE ARE! .. Marshall!

    Morris.

  13. Crowned

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

I've considered Belichick the best coach in the NFL for years now, and this year is no exception.

  14. TOP DAWG

    TOP DAWG Pro Bowler

One of Belichicks best years coaching. The D was his baby, and they were horrible to start with. Bunch of young, inexperienced guys in the secondary, talented, but lost. You'd see Belichick kneeling on the sidelines with the secodary going over what they needed to do, just about every game. They steadily improved, and now they are looking pretty dang good.

  15. warcrychief

warcrychief Ur just da assistant Pimp

Haley...at the most i was thinking 8-8...and that was leaps and bounds further than i thought last year was...but 2 go 10-6...total amount of wins we had in the last 3 years..awesome...Morris would have won it if he didnt call his own team the best in the NFC imho.

I don't see how Belichik isn't the obvious choice - Haley and Morris could split 'Best Non-Belichik Coach of the Year' tho.
