Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd capped a breakthrough season in his eighth year in the league by finishing with a league-high 1,448 yards receiving. Lloyd had five receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown in Denver's 33-28 setback to San Diego in Sunday's season finale. He finished the season with 77 catches, 11 of which went for touchdowns while averaging 18.8 yards per reception. In addition, Lloyd's season total of 1,448 was second only in Broncos history to Rod Smith's 1,602 in 2000. "There couldn't be a more grateful person that this could happen to," said Lloyd, who was inactive for the first 14 games last season in his first year with Denver before getting some attention with productive efforts in the last two games of 2009. "I'm proud of what I accomplished and I'm grateful for everybody that was involved in this football season: the quarterbacks, my teammates, the front office, media, fans, my family. There are so many people in my life that gave me the confidence to be out there and accomplish what I accomplished this year because my inner circle knew I could do it."

This. Won't take long for him to get complacent and lazy again.

He really wasn't that spectacular this year. A lot of his stats came during junk time against prevent defense. But in most of the meaningful games he disappeared. So he really isn't even a one year wonder, more like a junk time collector.
