During the regular season, Wayne finished second in the NFL with a career-best 111 receptions. Against the Jets and Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis, he had one catch for 1 yard. QFT. Being a colt's fan, i wanted to see them win, and it was at the back of my mind the whole time i watched this game "Wheres Wayne!?!?". I knew it was going to be a crapty game after caldwells challenge a min and a half into the game. I don't know if it was just a bad part planning or preparing by the colts..or if the jets were just that good.
The Colts had it despite Waynes' disappearance in the passing game but they allowed that huge return by Cromartie and reception by Edwards to set up the game-winner for Folk.
Everytime I saw Wayne out there, Revis was on him like a Siameese twin. He's lucky he got one reception.
revis did the exact same thing to chad johnson in last years wildcard game....like a freaking blanket
yep, reggie needs to stfu. manning wasn't looking at him as much as normal but he would have thrown to him if he was getting seperation. if anything, reggie should be APOLOGIZING to his team for getting pwned by revis so badly. it made the colts entire offense more anemic with him getting shut down mainly by just 1 guy.
