Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez Will Return In 2011

  1. Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez confirmed on the Jim Rome Show Friday that he will return in 2011. Gonzalez considered retirement a possibility following Atlanta's 48-21 loss to the Packers in the divisional round despite being the No. 1 seed. The 11-time Pro Bowler has never won a playoff game in his 14 seasons and aims to finally get over the hump in 2011. Gonzalez has one year left on his contract at $5.75 Million. Gonzalez recorded 70 receptions for 656 yards and 5 touchdowns during the 2010 season.

    I doubt it. In their history, they have never made the postseason back to back years.
     
  4. Times change......the Falcons had three straight winning seasons from '08-'10. They never done that before either.
