Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez Will Return In 2011

    Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez confirmed on the Jim Rome Show Friday that he will return in 2011. Gonzalez considered retirement a possibility following Atlanta's 48-21 loss to the Packers in the divisional round despite being the No. 1 seed. The 11-time Pro Bowler has never won a playoff game in his 14 seasons and aims to finally get over the hump in 2011. Gonzalez has one year left on his contract at $5.75 Million. Gonzalez recorded 70 receptions for 656 yards and 5 touchdowns during the 2010 season.

    I doubt it. In their history, they have never made the postseason back to back years.

    Times change......the Falcons had three straight winning seasons from '08-'10. They never done that before either.
