Bengals owner Mike Brown has emphatically stated that he will not be trading quarterback Carson Palmer this offseason, according to the team's official Twitter account. Palmer reportedly requested the trade last week and was issued a flat "no" from Brown. This confirms Chris Mortensen's report on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown that Palmer will request a trade and contemplate retirement if he does not get his wish of a trade. Palmer has become the object of fan frustration in the past two years has grown frustrated with the team's inconsistencies. This situation won't be resolved anytime soon as no trades can be completed until a new CBA is reached. Source: RotoTimes
Carson hasn't been the same since he got von Oelhoffen'ed. I would have been shocked if the Brown's didn't call his bluff, at least initially.
