That's dusty's other son, Cody Rhodes. Goldust AKA Dustin Rhodes had his shoulder worked on and will be out for some time
That's Cody Rhodes, Dusty's other son. This is the background on this feud: Rey broke Cody's nose in a match when he had his knee brace exposed and hit him with a 619: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evYSHZVd4Ak]YouTube - rey mysterio breaks cody rhodes nose![/ame] "Dashing Cody has been selling the injury with these promos: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpKUyiwfGzc]YouTube - Dashing Cody Rhodes refuses to show his face and won't compete at the Royal Rumble[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAsl8ab8zwI]YouTube - "Dashing" Cody Rhodes Interview (18th February 2011)[/ame] That led to what happened last night. They are setting the storyline up for a feud. I wonder if Rhodes will begin wearing Mysterio's mask and then have it be a mask vs mask match. Loses a bit of it's luster when one guy hasn't been wearing a mask his entire career.
Nah I was being sarcastic bro. Some of the stories do get rehashed. It's all about getting a pop from the crowd in the end.
Well, sometimes the bad guy gets over instead. And as with Dusty who's been a long time face, he just pulled a heel turn. It's crazy man!!! ....ok. Let me compose myself. Fan boy almost got loose.
I must be the only one here that loves the Dashing gimmick. It reminds me of a time where guys wern't just generic cookie cutter faces or arrogant/suited heels. Plus Cody pulls off the gimmick really well which helps. I also thought it was odd to bring back Dusty to turn him heel...if it's only a one off thing.
I don't mind the gimmick. I think this feud will be good for Cody Rhodes to establish himself. Word is Rey Mysterio handpicked him to do a storyline with.
