I think Bowers best scheme would be a 4-3, but I think he could handle the 5 in a 3-4 or possibly the OLB. Playing OLB would give him a one gap responsibility but the problem with him would be his pass coverage. I think he could handle the 5.

no bowers is not an OLB he would fail miserably there....hes not nearly as athletic and smooth as gaines adams who i think could have and probable should have been an OLB. he may be able to be a 5 tech in a hybrid scheme and play a role similar to how mario williams will be this upcoming year but not nearly as effective because hes not as talented.

hes not the elite end he was made out to be, hes slower than youd prefer, lacks explosiveness, and will struggle to bend around the edge.

i know JJ is in love with him and has wet dreams over his versatility but bowers is a power LE in a 34 who will probably max out around 6-8 sacks a year but be a solid run defender and gtenerate a decent amount of pressure...jmo

  3. yeah but if they don't take a QB they won't win either. That theory goes either way.

Who? Dolphins? Henne only started a season and a half with a terrible OC.

  5. doesn't matter. He hasn't shown anything really.

Actually when Henne had a running game he showed he can be a competent QB.

  7. They need a potent running game to help him out......thats why no other pick makes more sense than Ingram.

    Knee issues or not.

They need to try and trade down to get a 2nd if they can.

  9. still is nothing like a franchise QB.

  10. I agree and I'd take Ingram if the QB I felt best about was gone but I don't think they will. In fact, barely anyone seems to think they will take a RB.

Well I don't see Mallet as a franchise QB. If anything, I would trade down and take Ponder, he is a much better fit in the WCO.

I would love Ingram, but I dont think he'll fall that far
