Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Reed may have unveiled the Bills' plans for their second-round draft pick through a Twitter message to Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder. According to WGR radio in Buffalo, Reed, who's going to be announcing the BIlls' second-round pick in New York, messaged Ponder with the following note: "@cponder7 Lookin forward to calling your name Draft Day!!!!!!!!!Bills brash like ur style". Then, he deleted the message before posting it again: "@cponder7 Lookin forward to the possibility of calling your name Draft Day!!!!!!!!!Bills brash like ur style." As the report noted, Ponder was recruited by Bills coach Chan Gailey when he was at Georgia Tech. Ponder also played for Gailey at the Senior Bowl, met with the Bills at the NFL scouting combine and had an official visit. Source: National Football Post
Don't think Ponder will be too pissed, if any effect is to be had is that another team will trade ahead of them to pick him up. But yeah, Reed dun goofed.
