Southern California OT Tyron Smith A Sleeper For Browns At No. 6 Overall?

  1. If the Browns keep the pick, May Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer thinks they'll choose one of the following players: DT Marcell Dareus, LB Von Miller, CB Patrick Peterson, WR A.J. Green, CB Prince Amukamara or OT Tyron Smith. No one's really been talking about Smith for the Browns, but he's the best tackle in the draft and one of the most gifted athletes in the clbutt. Even though he's projected as a left tackle, he could step in right away at right tackle, which he played at USC.

that oline would potentially have 4 pro bowlers on it at once if smith is as good as he seems

    Joe Thomas?

He's probably on their list, but it seems silly to spend such a high pick upgrading the strongest part of a team with glaring needs.

  5. Smith would stay permanently at RT in Cleveland.

But I don't see Cleveland taking an offensive tackle at No. 6 to play RT only.

This, especially since Julio Jones and Robert Quinn i think will be on the board and they both are better players at positions of need.

The Browns could trade out with the Texans and potentially get him at 11.
