The Denver Broncos have been as transparent as any team in the NFL this year, showing video of their interview process for a head coach on their website in January and new team leader John Elway announcing major news on Twitter several times. The team has made a concerted effort to reconnect with fans in the Elway-John Fox era in an attempt to pick up the pieces from the messy Josh McDaniels’ era. However, the Broncos are apparently not ready to give away all of their secrets. A team spokesman said the team can be counted out as a possible candidate to appear on HBO’s“Hard Knocks†this summer. The show goes to training camp with an NFL team and gives viewers an inside look at practice, meetings and other aspects of camp. “We appreciate the value of the show, but, at this time, we are going to pass,†team spokesman Patrick Smyth said. Doesn't that show require a training camp? At this rate it won't be a full series it'll be a half hour special, if that.
Bingo. The only team that they may have a shot at would be the Raiders imo. I'd be surprised if anyone actually committed to it this year.
NFL should require it and rotate it through all 32 teams. Why. Cause I love it and I forsee it going away if they don't
Yea I always wanted to watch it but I never had HBO. I love seeing the behind the scenes crap with football.
I think this is a smart move by Denver here. I think when the Jets were on it last year it distracted them from what they need to worry about most. And thats playing football
Vikings have a nice couple story lines for the show as well...and it might entice the return of Brett Favre!!
