K-Train FF League Discussion Thread

I can speak to the first three on the list as all being active participants in the GIF keeper league, no slouching on roster upkeep or bye week subs. Omen and Snowman were among the final 4 if Im not mistaken. Snowman was probably the single most active member in the league, instigating trades and keeping his roster up with free agents and whatnot. Any of those 3 guys would be great choices, but if it's one dude, Snowman gets my vote.

Yeah you and Snowman went at in in the semis and you won the matchup, actually. You were kind of close though. ;)

 

I was inactive last year cause it was my first year at college and some girl got drunk and booted on my macbook the night of the draft...I motion myself to be in and prove I'm active.

 

Yeah they have computers in the library. So you had a chance to be active. I would say I agree with AJ. Although Ward should get consideration too.

 

If I am allowed in. I'll win just a warning.

 

im gonna PM everyone and send out emails....think we should wait on the lockout to set a date ro just pick one? do we want to do a normal draft or maybe see if everyone wants to just do an offline draft and do it in a thread over the course of a day or 2?

im open to ideas

 

I updated the scoring a little bit, not much really but a few one point bonuses.

I took away a WR, i didnt like how it worked out last year with the extra....and i reduced the number of bench spots to intitiate some activty and waiver pickups, the league is really deep so this will make it a little more interesting imo as far as roster moves go.

still waiting to hear from a few people regarding their status and their votes for st21 and mike

K, how can you just make rule and/or roster changes without a league vote? That's kind of bullcrap.

shockey, you have been inactive for 2 years in a row. You promised last year you would be active, I don't care who threw up on your computer, you probably had a new one the next day.

I have won 3 of the 4 years, (lost in the champ in the only year I didn't win) and I just think you are trying anything to keep me and my friend destiny from meeting yet again.

 

i added an extra wr last year and i dont think it was neccesary, so i took that away. the bench spots were too many and kind of made waiver pickups less frequent....its not really abruptly changing everything its more like i learned last year that it was setup excessive. i adjusted the IDP scoring last year too cause the first year it wasnt really a relevant amount of points i wanted them to carry more weight....its more of a live and learn type thing than trying to rob you.

they are changes you probably wouldnt even notice at all, i decided against wiping the league but i do want to get some stability in the league and now with 2 open spots i need some legit players. last year was actually pretty good in that there was a lot of 8-5 or 7-6 teams...i kinda like how that worked.

ill leave it open to a vote though with the 3rd WR spot....it makes the wrs deep as hell but we can keep it if everyone wants..the problem with voting is not everyone seems to care enough to chime in

anyone opposed to these changes please let me know i guess lol
