Although the NFL and NFLPA have not yet agreed to a labor deal, Jeremy Shockey was quoted in a report saying the lockout could end Thursday. The Green Bay Packers have also told players their facility opens Friday, according to ProFootballTalk.com. The new Panthers tight end said in the Busted Coverage report that he and teammates were told to report to Charlotte Friday for a three-day camp from that starts July 22. The Charlotte Observer later confirmed the report through a source. “Obviously the details have to be completed, but this deal is done,â€￾ Shockey told Busted Coverage. “The Hall of Fame game is a go. It’s a win-win for both sides.â€￾ The Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers also let players know they should show up to the team facility Saturday, ProFootballTalk.com reported.

I'll believe it when all the crap's signed and we can see visible signs of life from the NFL. Reports with more dates on them mean about as much as cat crap to me at this point.

Shockey signed with the Panthers before the lockout. And I will believe it when its confirmed..officially. I don't care what players say. What sources say. When the NFL and NFLPA announce it over, then I will be excited. Not before.
