As if they haven't been suffered enough during the lockout, Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that the new collective bargaining agreement will limit teams to $75,000 in signing bonuses for undrafted free agents. Even the most sought-after undrafted free agent rarely signs for more than $20,000, with most receiving little more than airfare and an opportunity. But the limit will undoubtedly alter the way teams budget for those signings. With teams having to add between 15 and 45 players to reach the 90-player limit for training camp, it will be interesting to see if that leads to more veteran signings due to the UDFA signing bonus limit. Fortunately, the positive news regarding the progress the NFL and NFLPA are making towards a final agreement means we won't have to wait too long to find out. Source: Mac's Football Blog
UFL is having money issues and may not even have a season. It was good for a year. I hope they keep going, it was entertaining. Nfl should take it over as a minor league type of deal. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
