Eagles QB Michael Vick Hints WR DeSean Jackson May Holdout Of Training Camp

Discussion in 'Philadelphia Eagles' started by BigBlueBruiser, Jul 26, 2011.

  1. Michael Vick was one of the first Eagles to report to the NovaCare when the Eagles were finally permitted to open their doors to their players. But will DeSean Jackson, who has made it no secret that he wants a contract extension, show up at Lehigh tomorrow for training camp? Vick made it seem as if that may not be the case. "Hopefully, he'll be here tomorrow," Vick said. "DeSean just has some things to think about and some decisions to make that only himself can make."

not gonna be a good decision if djax doesnt report. gonna be big issues IMO re - hamstring type injuries if he holds out long.

    Why not, Smeags?
We'd even throw in Steve Smith

Because it's a terrible trade for the Eagles.

And Jackson is a one demensional player who can be shut down with contact. How much money does he want?

Even if we threw in our 1st 4 picks in next year's draft? And Steve Smith?

You do realize that you cant trade a player who is not under contract with you, right?

It's called a "sign and trade'. It's what happened to LeBron James last year.

Wow just wow. There is nothing called the sign and trade in football. In fact, if the Panthers did something like that, they would lose cap space because THEY would be on the hook for any money.
