jones is not the reason this got done, the prospect of ALL of the owners losing $250mil in revenue if the first week of pre-season was missed is what got this settled.
If you read the article, which obviously you didn't, which doesn't surprise me one bit, you would have seen that both Roger Goodell and Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson said that if it hadn't been for Jerry, the deal probably wouldn't have been done.
i did read it and i dont give a heck what goodell or richardson said, they are both full of crap. money is what got the deal done.

ragman, would you be surprised to learn that Jerry Jones was the root of the problem? That this all started with him and his Billion dollar stadium? That Bob Kraft grabbed Jones and sat him back down when Jerrah wanted to storm out of a meeting early in the negotiations? Stick a mic in Goodell's face and ask him what part Jerrah played in getting the CBA resolved and what do you think he's gonna say?
