Eagles Sign Former Packers DT Cullen Jenkins To 5-Year Deal

ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed former Packers DT Cullen Jenkins to a 5-Year Deal. This comes on the heels of several free agent additions to the Eagles roster including cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Nnamdi Asomugha, quarterback, Vince Young, wide receiver Johnnie Lee Higgins, tight end, Donald Lee and defensive end Jason Babin. Schefter writes via his Twitter page: "Rich get richer: Former Packers DT Cullen Jenkins reached agreement with the Eagles on a five year, $25 million deal."

How in the hell are the Eagles signing all these guys? I guess they are taking the Redskin approach. Buy now and pay dearly later.. so much for Vick being long term.. lol

Jesus, the Eagles defense is going to be stacked this season. They had to spend a lot to get to the cap floor.

 

yeah, supposedly we had a ton of cap credits from last year. Banner told reporters not to go anywhere and they asked do you still have cap room and his response was "hell yeah!"

 

I know they don't and with what they have on the line and on the back end, they need serviceable guys...but I wouldn't be surprised if they added one.
