Rob Ryan Vows To “Beat The Ass” Of “The All-Hype Team”

    After becoming one of the Eagles’ many high-profile acquisitions over the last week, Vince Young proclaimed Philadelphia the “Dream Team.” Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan may have given the Eagles a different nickname today.

    Speaking to reporters at Cowboys camp, Ryan said that he was happy with the Cowboys’ relative lack of big-name free-agent signings because he thinks the players the Cowboys already have are good enough. And then he said he’s looking forward to playing a certain other team that has received more attention in free agency.

    “These are proven players, and that’s what we need,” Ryan said. “I don’t know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we’re going to beat their butt when we play them.”

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

    Rob Ryan's Browns defense did shut down the power offensive teams last season (Saints,Patriots) and he has plenty more talent to work with in Dallas. Not sure if Dallas is going to be able to move the ball much on the Eagles defense either though.

    Thank you!!! I think everyone forgets that we have one of the best TE's in the game. Not to mention RB's who catch the ball really well out of the backfield. And a solid running game..

    Whoever wins out of the Eagles and Cowboys, it will be a great game IMO. Ryan just added fuel to an already hot fire between these teams.

    The games are always fun when Sunday rolls around, but I could give two craps about Dallas right now and don't see them as any sort of threat to win the division.

    Yeah, I know.. because when we were the superbowl favorites last year at one point, that team changed completely to the one this year. (Yeah, we played terrible, but after Wade, we played great, just as we will this entire season.) I Guess it will be between the Giants and Redskins then, yeah? lol.
