Prince Amukamara, the Giants’ first-round pick, finally agreed to terms on a contract tonight, ending the longest holdout of any first-rounder this year. He will sign a four-year deal worth $8.18 million, according to a source. More than 90 percent of the deal is guaranteed. The Giants seemed to be caught by surprise that the cornerback from Nebraska held out so long, missing nearly a full week of camp in an apparent dispute over the amount of guaranteed money. If Amukamara can catch up quickly enough, he could compete for a role in the Giants’ nickel defensive packages this season, possibly even pushing veteran Aaron Ross. Source: NY Daily News
