ESPN Hires Hall Of Fame WR Jerry Rice As NFL Analyst

Discussion in 'NFL General Discussion' started by BigBlueBruiser, Aug 8, 2011.

  1. ESPN has hauled in the NFL's greatest receiver. The network has hired Jerry Rice as an analyst, SI.com has learned. Rice will appear on NFL Live, SportsCenter and ESPN's Audibles show, which will air weekly this fall on Thursday nights. On Audibles, Rice will be reunited with his former Niners quarterback Steve Young. He is scheduled to start at ESPN on Sept. 15 and will be based on the West Coast.

I hope he's better than Emmit Smith was. Idk why but that's my first thought.

Oh god....listen, I have been hearing this guy try to pull off this in the Bay area for a while now. He is Emmitt incarnate. Just one more reason my TV hardly tunes to the sports leader.

ESPN is a joke. Oh, well. Can't blame Rice for that.

If he's as bad as SRW says, then he is the newest reason.

Still falls on ESPN for hiring him. Though, what do you expect with them?
