Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has posted a video of himself doing footwork on a field ladder and breaking into a sprint. Owens, who underwent ACL surgery in April, is targeting Week 1 for his return. Although he doesn't make any sharp cuts in the video, he certainly looks to be on the right track. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggests that Owens could be signed after Week 1, when vested veteran's contracts are no longer guaranteed for the season. Source: Pro Football Talk: Twitter.com
Footwork kinda broke down at the end there didn't end? Maybe he should stick to the situps in the driveway. Not that his abs need it.
so you're gonna hate on a guy who did that whole ladder and moved 10 yards down the field in literally 4 seconds? Let me see you do that ladder as well and get down the field in 15 seconds, then you can hate. lmfao
Having had both ACL's torn and repaired myself, that hard pivot the first time will not only be the litmus test physically, but mentally as well. Pretty hard to convince yourself to do something that could put you back on the table. But if I had to pick one guy in the NFL that can overcome both, it's T.O.
