Titans RB Chris Johnson May Request A Trade?

Discussion in 'Tennessee Titans' started by BigBlueBruiser, Aug 25, 2011.

  1. One league source tells Profootballtalk that Titans running back Chris Johnson's next move may be a trade request. Coach Mike Munchak has already stated that Johnson will not be traded, and we don't expect that stance to change. Johnson tweeted Thursday that he "just got advice" from an experienced source and will give an update "when the time is right." That advice and the PFT report may be more than coincidental.

Blah blah blah. These CJ and TT threads should be boycotted. At least until a deal gets done or the QB's ahead of TT get struck by lighting and he's declared the starter by default.

If they traded him, I'm sure there will be teams coming out of the woodwork to get in on that.

I swear to god I would crap my pants if the Patriots were in on it. He would give us the real legit feature back that would put the offense over the top.

If he's actually traded I would be pretty surprised though. It's rare that such huge names are traded. It would be awesome though.

If the pats got cj they would be a real dream team unlike us right now. Even right now i think the pats are better then the eagles.

Pats better not trade for CJ. Not that it is actually happening, but.

The Pats have the stockpile of draft picks, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Titans aren't trading him. They pretty much have him locked up for 4 years and Johnson has no leverage...lol. He's actually got a lot less than no leverage...

I am leaning towards this.. ^^^^^ Unless someone offered a few first rounders I don't see him going anywhere.

What is with people think he is gonna get traded? There is NO CHANCE whatsoever he is gonna get traded specially not to the Pats. Since giving up his free-agency year he has no leverage and he is gonna have to accept a deal that makes him get paid more than a RB but not by much maybe 9 to 10 per year

Shut the heck up sign the contract they offered and be thankful that you're playing a sport you love for a living. Cause otherwise since you probably are one of the most uneducated people I have ever heard speak you would probably be selling crack on the corner.

They have him for 4 more years and he'll lose money unless he signs and by the time he's out of Tennessee he's 30. Lol...

  18. He has two-years left on his rookie deal.......
