Bengals Waive QB Jordan Palmer, Four Others, Release CB Fred Bennett

  1. The Cincinnati bengals have waived quarterback Jordan Palmer, cornerback LeRoy Vann, free safety Tom Nelson, linebacker Stephen Franklin, wide receiver Jamere Holland and released cornerback Fred Bennett. The writing was on the wall for Carson Palmer's little brother after he failed to make an appearance in Cincinnati's past two preseason games. A sixth-round pick of the Redskins in 2007, Palmer has attempted just 15 career passes, two of which were intercepted and zero of which have gone for scores. A four-year veteran, Bennett has tallied 125 tackles and five interceptions in 48 career games. However, he was given extremely limited snaps in nine games between the Bengals and Chargers last season.

Yeah the Bengals are well under the cap. But Carson can still show up and collect an $11 million paycheck for craps and giggles...or maybe just collect a few games and then retire...lol.

  7. Thats an idea.......but Carson has enough money to walk away with no regrets. He's made almost $80M.
