Ndamukong Suh is answering questions again about his style of play. The Detroit Lions defensive tackle hasn't been asked by the one person who concerns him. "I'll consider myself a dirty player when my mom calls me a dirty player," he said Monday. Suh is back in the spotlight after an incident with Patriots lineman Logan Mankins during a post-whistle scuffle in Detroit's 34-10 preseason win Saturday night. Suh pointed out that an official saw the entire play and that they had discussed Suh's attempt to get Mankins away from the Lions' Lawrence Jackson. Suh was not called for a penalty, while Mankins received a personal foul for grabbing Jackson's face mask. "I don't regret it at all," Suh said. "What I find funny about the situation is that I wasn't the one called for the 15-yard face-mask penalty, and I also didn't know you could get fined for defending a teammate." He said he had a "great talk about the play with the referee who was right there." "He said in the future, I should let them handle those situations, but that he understood exactly what I was trying to do," he said. Source: Associated Press
Yeah he does what defensive players are supposed to do, inflict as much pain as possible on the person who has the ball.
I love this kid. He's a beast. In the future he should continue to show his loyalty to his teammate the same way as far as I'm concerned.
When are we going to switch to touch/flag football? Really? Seriously I'm so sick of hearing about people snitching and whining about how someone plays, I'm glad this board agree's but if you're scared to play a game you played your whole life, then you shouldn't be in the league. SUH is a beast, the pats felt the wrath of the Dessembly Line on Saturday night.
I'm a Pats fan, and even when he was killing the Pats I wasn't thinking he was dirty. He plays hard and mean. Unfortunately in today's NFL, that means he's "dirty."
he plays football the way it is supposed to be played. I am in the minority here, I love defense. Much rather see a good defense shut down a good offense. Man, sure do miss the great 80's defenses.Suh would be at home then. I remember in the early 90's the Saints took out 5 quarterbacks in one season. makes me feel like this. 1800 Tequila - MEN - YouTube
