Scott Brown and Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review report Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu briefly scuffled with Ravens running back Ray Rice on Sunday. But that isn't what proved to be costly for the six-time Pro Bowler. The NFL fined Polamalu $15,000 for making a horse-collar tackle in the Steelers' 35-7 loss to the Ravens, a league source said. The tackle came late in the third quarter at the end of a 36-yard run by Ravens running back Ricky Williams. "It definitely wasn't on purpose," Polamalu said. "I've never intentionally tried to horse collar anybody."

Same game Antonio Brown was horse-collared out of bounds. No fine?

    15000 for da horse, 10000 for a punch...hmmmm.

I hate the objectivity of these fines. They're all out of whack. There needs to be a set standard, not just whatever Goodell thinks up while he's sitting on the crapter.

I couldn't of said either one better. Goodell is a freaking a joke. There has to be a way to impeach the pr**k. He doesn't even try to hide his objectivity of the punishments he hands down.

Agreed. He has just reinforced what the Steelers are telling themselves, that Goodell is targetting them.
