Dallas’ third-year kicker David Buehler said something about Ted Ginn on Saturday — one day before the Cowboys-49ers clash in San Francisco — that just might wake up a sleeping giant who showed last week that he is now wide awake. “If the wind is at my back,†Buehler told the Dallas Morning News, “hopefully I’ll get the green light and be able to kick a touchback and keep it out of Ted Ginn’s hands because he is a dangerous returner.†Buehler was fine with those comments until he added this: “As long as you hit him in the mouth earlier, I think he might give up.†That’s probably not the sort of indirect challenge you want to pose to a guy coming off a game with a kickoff and punt return for touchdowns. They can try this dude can hold his own.... He's pretty big dude and he don't why away from contact like others Sent from my HTC EVO using Tapatalk.
Didn't Buehler play a little bit of backup LB at USC? I know he pretty strong and quick, certainly not a typical kicker by any stretch of the imagination.
He played safety and was a gunner on special teams and was running back on goal line when he was at USC He is 6-2 227.... I remember reading an article about the coaches having. To tell him to stop seeking contact... When he was a rookie... Sent from my HTC EVO using Tapatalk.
