Redskins LB Brian Orapko Says Tony Romo's Injuries Were Blown Out Of Proportion

Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post reports Redskins linebacker Brian Orapko was a guest on ESPN 980’s John Thompson Show on Tuesday abd is tired of all of the talk about how heroic Tony Romo was on Monday night. “To me they blown it way out of proportion. I mean, they tried to make it seem like the guy was hospitalized the night before the game, just so we could build it up if they was to win the game — oh he’s a courageous player to go out there and play. The guy was playing just like Tony Romo, running around, making throws. He got hit throughout the whole game and still getting up. I mean, it was blown way out of proportion, but it is what it is.â€￾

I agree with what he said. But it's one of those you don't say it to the media kind of things.

 

100% agree with Orakpo. I'm glad he said it.

 

I'm not embarrassed by crap. It's a fact that his injuries were blown out of proportion by the media to glorify him and increase interest in the game. My feelings for Romo have nothing to do with it. I have no problem giving him credit for what he does. He played lights out. But I still agree with what Orakpo said.

so the way this guy counters the media blowing the romo injury situation out of proportion is by - you guessed it - going to the media and crying like a snitch thus blowing it out of proportion.

I never heard anyone say how much of a team player Vick is or how full his heart is if he suits up this week like everyone was doing about Romo last week. He got virtual blow job after blow job from everyone on ESPN and NFLN.
