Broncos Put In QB Tim Tebow To Start Second Half Vs Chargers

Down 23-10 at the half, Denver Broncos head coach John Fox has changed quarterbacks, replacing starter Kyle Orton with 2010 first-round pick Tim Tebow. Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post reported that Tebow was working with center J.D. Walton when the Broncos returned to the field for the second half. Orton had completed 6-of-13 pass attempts for 34 yards and interception in the first half, resulting in a 21.0 passer rating. Tebow had entered the game for a play in the first half, running the ball one time for two yards.

Ok so I just saw the highlight. I thought Tebow shortened that delivery when he came into the league? I remember hearing about that constantly, how he was working on it and had it fixed. I'd say that bullcrap because he winds that hecker up now as much as he ever did. It's a wonder he ever gets a pass off.

 

So is Orton done?

 

I'd guess he gets one more shot and the quick hook...but maybe that was his last shot and the quick hook...

 

I remember John Fox saying he doesn't hear the Tebow chants. COUGH BULLCRAP COUGH!

 

The Broncos are going to wait and see. My guess is who does better in practice this week.

 

Teblow was horrible. The Donkey fans will scream about how "He gave them a chance to win" B.S. Orton or Quinn would have had the same result... Well maybe not Orton, but Quinn would have done just as good. Teblow can't even take a snap under center, his accuracy is terrible every pass was off (chargers missed 2 interceptions) and that delivery is the worst in football.

All that said, Teblow is the best thing to happen to the AFC West this year. Hell Teblow gives the Chiefs a shot at not being the worst team in the division.

 

Tebow has too many dumb haters like the poster above. He gave the Broncos a spark and almost won the damn game. STFU. The guy deserves to play he is better than Orton. MOVE ON.

 

I see no reason why you wouldnt go to Tebow. The fans have been chanting for him for a while and Kyle Orton is not getting the job done
