Let's wait until tonight to say that. It's 2-1, not over by a long shot. I picked the Rangers in 6 and stand by it.
As long as the Rangers don't pitch to Pujols, they'll be fine. The Rangers also got a bad break last night where Matt Holliday was called safe and the replay clearly showed he was tagged.
I was hoping the Rangers would sweep just because I hate the Cardinals. But I was thinking they'd probably win in 7. I just hate the Cardinals so much. I don't care how they lose. And pitching to Pujols is like punting to Devin Hester... Why do people keep doing it? I don't care who's on base or how many outs there are. Walk him. Walking in a run is better than him hitting a double and knocking in 2 or 3.
So Pujols is batting and Allen Craig tries to steal 2nd base and gets thrown out by a mile. Rather than ponder the thought that the baseball demi-god (lol) Tony LaRussa might have called a failed hit & run or whatever the case may be, McCarver & Buck conclude that Albert Pujols himself called for a hit & run in that situation. Seriously??? Since when does the batter call hit & runs from the batter's box? I'm beyond words for that piece of stupidity...I mean every manager in the game makes calls and some of them work and some of them don't. It just blows my mind they would blame that on Pujols somehow lol.
Go to Yahoo Sports and the read the story about this. It sounds like an 8 year old's explanation on how a family vase got broken. One more win!!!!
