People in the sport look at Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers' throwing motion and believe he's injured. His motion has always been awkward, but one personnel man who has studied film of Rivers this year says it's particularly grotesque and in some shots on film he can be seen wincing. Rivers has gone on record saying that his play has nothing to do with an unannounced injury, most recently following a 24-21 overtime loss to the Chiefs after committing three turnovers, including a costly fumble in Kansas City territory with under a minute left in regulation in field-goal range. Rivers currently leads all quarterbacks in interceptions and turnovers. Source: CBS Sports
It's possible, he took some pretty hard shots early in the season. Whether that's the reason for why he's been so off or not I don't know. He looked better during the KC game (with the exception of the start and finish).
