Tim Tebow had no problem with Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch striking the prayerful pose known as "Tebowing" after sacking him last week. Tebow said he figures Tulloch was just having fun, not mocking him or his Christian faith by participating in the phenomenon that's become an Internet sensation. The craze began shortly after TV cameras captured Tebow kneeling in quiet reflection while his teammates celebrated their comeback win over the Miami Dolphins two weeks ago. The Lions joined in the gesture during their 45-10 beatdown of the Broncos on Sunday, including Tulloch's pose after his takedown of Tebow, which has drawn widespread public criticism. "He was just celebrating, having fun with his teammates and I don't take offense to that," Tebow said. Well, he was bothered by a thing or two, actually. "I was bothered that I gave up a sack and that I didn't break the tackle," Tebow said. "That bothered me." Source: ESPN
I mean look, as a human being I wish we had more like him. The world would be a better place. But as a quarterback he just doesn't have it. I don't think it would be such a big deal if he was a late round pick. And I think the Broncos front office is doing him wrong by caving in to the fan pressure. I know that they don't have a qb under contract past this season and want to see what he can do. But if they keep him they would have to totally change their offensive scheme to take advantage of his particular skill set. What he would excel in is a hybrid of the run and shoot. Shotgun all the time and speedy receivers. But you have to have some major beasts on defense cause they would be on the field a lot. Arena football would be his best bet to succeed.
yeah, "those people" need to wise up and realize humans as a species are bad. The aliens that made us really hecked up.
