Eh, I think it was the right call. Forte did get control as he spun around.

 

Forte very rarely fumbles. Hopefully this is his only one this year.

 

Looked like Forte had control about a split second before the fumble.

 

He made a "football move" and tried to switch hands. Fumble. But these freaking penalties are goobered. Holy crap. Stop moving. Everyone.

All bullcrap aside, I grew up in an age when hitting the QB was normal not illegal but by today's standards that Goodell has set, well...it is what it is. He did get shoved in the back but not that hard imo. But, really I like to watch a good hard hitting football game so I can't argue against you too much. Refs in this league do call a lot of bullcrap each week.

 

Philly is definitely getting frustrated right now, hopefully that works in the Bears favor in the second half.

 

The Eagles defense looked a lot better in the 2nd quarter, so hopefully that continues. If they can secure the ball in the 2nd half, I still like the Eagles chances.

 

I constantly rip into Reid & Co for not making good halftime adjustments...hopefully they make me look foolish tonight.

 

Not gonna lie. I love the McCoy/Barry Sanders comparison. Obviously not even close at the moment but he had shades of Barry.
