MELBOURNE, Australia -- The Americans returned Down Under and this time wound up on top in the Presidents Cup. Jim Furyk became the fourth player to win all five of his matches, and the bottom half of the lineup was strong enough Sunday to give the Americans their fourth straight win in this lopsided series. Perhaps it was only fitting that Tiger Woods clinched the cup for the second straight time.U.S. captain Fred Couples was criticized for using a pick on Woods, who had been out with an injury most of the summer and had not won since his personal life crumbled two years ago. Woods played well all week, even if he didn't always get rewarded with a point. In his singles match against Aaron Baddeley, he was never seriously challenged.

Way to go boys. Especially like how Tiger's participation hasn't been front and center.

All golfers should lay down and die, becuase Tiger has already won the next four majors as long as he shows up

Gotta have Adam Scott and Eldridge in the final group at the Masters. Could be a throwdown at Ray's Creeks between Eldridge and Stevie Williams.

Yeah I'm mostly joking, I dont think Tiger ever wins a major again, I said that about a year ago and I stick too it

The only thing that;s important is that he never breaks Nicklaus' record for majors won. That's the one thing Eldridge covets above all others.

I don't care what any of y'all say, Tiger is the greatest golfer to ever walk the face of the earth. They haven't had to adjust courses to make things more fair for other players. They most definitely did that for Tiger Woods. And I watched almost every minute of coverage on the President's Cup and he looked A LOT like the old Tiger for about 85% of that event. And during the singles he looked every bit as old Tiger. Dustin Johnson played like crap days 1, 2 and 3 and Tiger was going up against 2 of the worlds best essentially on his own. Day 4 he Baddely had NO SHOT with the roll Tiger was on. And he also only sealed the winning point so yeah, he didn't do anything. I don't care what he's done off the course, on the course he's the greatest ever, period.
