The Detroit Lions have been informed by league office that Ndamukong Suh has been suspended by Commissioner two games without pay according to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.

Clearly Suh's butt kissing is working. Should have been longer.

I don't understand how you guys can say that. I think the penalty is about right. That's a crapload of money if all the reports are correct.

I just don't think Suh is going to get it. I think it should have been 3.

Jesus Christ....ok 3. Now can I get 4 from anyone else?

Point is it was a multiple game suspension. That's what was warranted.

I'm ok with 2 games for his first suspension. If he doesn't learn, then he'll obviously have a longer suspension coming.

Agree mush. I thought it was going to be two games and think that's fair...now of it happens again...

He gets a bad rap of being an overly dirty player...because he plays hard and gets a bunch of questionable flags for hitting QBs. When most everyone here has called the flags bullcrap...

Should have been 4...he's been fined over 6 or 7 times since he's been in the league...Goodell isn't fair and I've been saying it since Pacman Jones got a years' suspension for doing something not even league related..BOGUS...Suh will have learned nothing in all this.

This is what you're basing your opinion on?

ok so I just saw a thing on ESPN about NFL suspensions. Only 2 other players have ever been suspended 2 games for on the field incidents. 1 was a Packer DL body slamming Jim McMahon about 5 seconds after he threw the ball, and the other was Fat Albert stomping Gurode's face. And both of those looked waaay worse than what Suh did. So I'm flipping sides. 2 games is good.

I agree with Sweets. It should have been for the rest of the season.

So according to you if he would have stomped his face or waited more than 4 seconds before he hit anyone then more games should be added but since it was in fact a foul although he didn't hit any vital areas it's ok to give him only 2 games?

Wuh? Severity of the foul effects the punishment right? Kicking a guy in the face is worse than kicking him in the arm. Hence the saying, "Punishment fits the crime." Not all penalties are the same.

Lol...Suh's "stomp" is not near as epic as the McMahon Slam or the Albert Stomp. Suh almost FAILED at connecting...lol. I'm not defending it. I think 2 games is good. As for the fines...some of that was bullcrap fines...

Yea but the idea was the same he got pissed because Evan Dietrich-Smith stuffed his butt on that play. And just because he didn't seriously hurt anyone this time does it make it any better then what Haynesworth did? No he had a temper tantrum and slammed a guys head in to the ground and stomped on his arm. Now I know he had his helmet on but would he have done the same if the helmet had come off? The big question is this guy capable of really hurting someone on purpose. I think he is and time will tell. He will show his true colors.

he slammed his head into the ground 3 times and if the helmet had come off I honestly don't think he would have cared.

Two games is fine. That gets the point across. Next time he does some sketchy crap, goes to 4.

Two games is fair. Especially as cheating and affecting the outcome of a game only come with four.
