If the Chicago Bears were to call "retired" quarterback Brett Favre, the future Hall of Famer would entertain an offer to return for the final few games of the season, Michael C. Wright of ESPN Chicago reports. Thus far, the Bears have not contacted Favre and, during his Monday afternoon press conference, head coach Lovie Smith said the team is not considering adding an outside quarterback. Favre and Cutler are both represented by James "Bus" Cook.

Of course he will they are in contention for a playoff spot. How about them Colts or Phins Farve? Its getting to the point I wish he would come back and get his bell rung one good time where he a babbling idiot for a week or two. Don't usually want to see someone get hurt but damn his butt is asking for it.

    LOVE IT!

However, virtually impossible to take a guy off his couch and plug him into an offense and expect it to work...

I betcha next year, with a Matt Stafford injury, he'll wind up with the Lions. Therefore, he'd complete his go\al of playing for the whole NFC North, in his career

favre can do it, at his age a 4-6 game season might be all he has in him, but damn if thats all they need him for it would be awesomness.

could you freaking imagine how good espn would be with favre coming out of retirement and tebow magic at the same time? christ

In memory of the NFC Central, he could replace Freeman after that

Honestly, the way Caleb Hanie is playing, Forte done for the year and an 0-6 finish appearing almost guaranteed, it'd be worth trying anything to stop the rot.
